Child Development

Picture

The best way to understand how a child develops is to watch a child interact with their environment, parents, siblings, extended families and eventually their friends.  Child development is important to understand so as adults we can give children a positive outlook on life while feeling safe and loved.Adults are responsible for a child's emotional, physical and intellectual growth. Understanding why children do the things they do is an important first step in working towards raising healthy and happy children.

Watch the short videos below and create a list of developmental milestones using the web 2.0 tool Padlet with your partner.  You can access Padlet through Google classroom.  Be sure to list you and your partner as editors and share the completed version with me on your E-Portfolio.  Submit your Padlet on google classroom.  Be sure you have both names on the project.
