Write a reflection on a time when you allowed a negative emotion get in the way of you accomplishing something you really wanted to do.
Example - Your parents ask you to clean your room before you go to visit friends. You decide not to do it because you are angry with your sister/brother. Your parent says you cannot go to see your friend because you didn't clean your room.
You did not get what you wanted because you let your anger get in the way. You probably would have been able to forget and move past your anger if you had cleaned your room and gone to visit with your friends.
